Attention!
Due to FCC regulations, RDX Series VHF default frequencies programmed in Channels 1 and 2 are different from the XTN Series default values. This does not affect UHF radio users.
The following table shows the default frequencies programmed in each RDX and XTN Series VHF radio. In order for RDX and XTN VHF radios to inter-operate, a common frequency must be chosen (Refer To User Guides for details).

How to make XTN Series VHF radios compatible with RDX
- If you have an X2600 Model, make sure your XTN is programmed to the factory default frequencies by turning your radio ON while holding the MENU and PTT buttons simultaneously for three seconds. Otherwise skip to Step 2.
- Program Channel 1 with Frequency #20 (154.4900 MHz). If your radio is XV1100 you will have to program just Channel 1.
- Program Channel 2 with Frequency #21 (154.5150 MHz). This step will be needed for XV2100 (2 Ch) and XV2600 (6 Ch) only.
* Former XTN frequencies #3 (154.5700 MHz) and #4 (154.6000 MHz) are now considered MURS (Multi Use Radio Service) frequencies and are not available in the RDX Series.
